About This Item

The name for this geocoin comes from a phrase that my father used to write in his books: "E se mais mundo houvera, la chegara". This means: "If there was more world, I would get there". Its author is the portuguese poet "Luis Vaz de Camoes", who wrote the "Lusiadas", an epic about portuguese discoveries. This phrase is quite inspiring, so it serves this geocoin quite nicely.

This geocoin was offered by a good friend of us, Paulo Henriques. It was dropped in Norway with a first mission of going to Cape North. Other missions will be devised in the near future.

    This geocoin starts its journey here, in this great country: Norway. Our first objective during the plannnig of this trip, was to reach the North Cape. We weren't able to achieve that, due to lack of time. We hope this geocoin is able to get there.
    Afterwards, we will redefine it's purpose.

    We found this geocoin during our hike to the Preikestolen (= Pulpit Rock). But we didn't know the mission of the coin (the North Cape), at the time of retrieving it was even not activited. At the moment the coin is in The Netherlands. And that is in the wrong direction. I hope other people will help the geocoin to fulfil its mission.
