Petey Cruiser is a "Johnny Lightning" die-cast miniature car with smooth rubber tires and fancy rims. He is a reproduction of Craig Wilson's award winning 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser.

RavRobin and I retrieved this from North America: ATW80. We didn't know about its goal of traveling to Escondido. We're not likely to be down there soon, so we'll probably drop this bad boy somewhere around LA or Orange County in the near future.

At the GiG event, I heard that Petey Cruiser was headed to Escondido, CA -- there was no routing sheet with him.
Since our family is planning an Easter Weekend at Anza Borrego (which is not all that far from Escondido) I thought that I could get him a lot closer to his final than Indiana. When I started to log him this morning, I saw that he had been close to Escondido a couple of times, but then was sent on a different path.
I will let the owner decide. In my travel to Anza Borrego, I can drop Petey in a cache near the Lawrence Welk Resort, a little north of Escondido (same zip code). Or I can drop him in a cache here in Los Angeles to see where the next person takes him. I will hold on to him until I hear, or until Easter Weekend.
