This bug belongs to students in Miss Musso's class at E. St. John Elementary in LaPlace, Louisiana. It is participating in a travel bug race with Mr. Seavert's 8th period Social Studies Class at Whitnall Middle School in Greenfield, Wisconsin. Both schools released their travel bugs on the weekend of 11/6/04 and must reach the designated cache first. This TB needs to reach the Travel Bug School Field Trip 2004-2005 (GCKWHF) in Greenfield, Wisconsin. We hope that this bug will get there by June 2005, or better yet, much sooner for our chance at winning the race!
Our travel bug is an alligator. It is our state reptile! A rule for our travel bug is that it must travel from cache to cache in neighboring states. It can not skip over any states. The travel bug also cannot be moved by the same caching team to more than two caches. Each teacher has agreed to send the other class a prize if they lose the race. If we win, they will send us a cheesehead. If they win, we will send them some Mardi Gras throws. Students will be keeping track of both school travel bugs, and get a great refresher on their knowledge of United States geography. Please help us by attaching to your log photos of our TB in front of famous places or landmarks along the way, so we can learn more about our fabulous country. Thank you for participating in our class project!

Math Boy delivered the gator to me at school this week, so it has reached its destination. It is now visiting Whitnall Middle School in Wisconsin. Hope Ms. Musso's class is still watching the travel bug. Where would it like to go next?

Its final destination cache GCKWHF has been archived. I hope it visited this cache before it got archived. Funny thing, my son Math Boy goes to Whinall Middle School and we both know Mike (green & gold) very well. I'll just move it along and I'll let Mike know I have it.
