Current Goal

All of my life I have dreamt of travelling, eventually to the homeland of the moose. My ambition is to be photographed with a real one...picking up many memories along the way.

Big THANKS to 2goobs who photographed this Travel Bug with real live moose!!! We would very much welcome more photographs during his stay in Alaska but would also like him to return home to England in the near future so that he can take pride of place above the fire place!

The Great British Moose!

Unfortunately, I live in a country that has never been home to the moose. My family all live in far away places such as North America and some parts of Europe. Many, many years ago there used to be close relatives of mine living in Great Britain called Irish elk but they all became extinct in about 10,000 BC. Please help me, I really would love to see a real moose one day!!!

I found this travel bug in the Clover Leaf geocache in Alaska. He wants to visit moose country. It has not yet been logged in.

We brought this little guy to Alaska to find some of his long lost relatives. We dropped him off in The Clover Leaf but could not log him before his got grabbed. The good news is we found them and we have pictures to proove it!!! It was our pleasure to help him complete his mission. We stuck one of or stickers on the bottom of him also. Our time with him was great we would like to get him back if he happens to get back to Pa. Good luck little guy it was fun!!!!

  • With a Stuffed friend. This is a display in Denali National Park visitors center.
  • With a stuffed friend and one of 2goobs. I'm the one without the antlers and slightly less hair!
  • Getting use to the new terain. This is in Denali at mile 15 on the park road. No sign of any reltives we will keep looking!

Retrived The Great British Moose from Hobo Vista today. We will be holding on to him for a while. We are going to Alaska in July and hopefully we can help this little guy in his Quest. He seemed very happy that he will be seeing a real moose soon.
