About This Item

Little Bugger #2 - Ladybird

A pewter ladybird that is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but hopefully tough enough to last the distance. Number two of the 'Little Buggers' travel bug series, which also features a dragonfly, a butterfly and a bee. Can you find them all?

Released this from it's metal sarcophagus. The lid had seized shut from rust at this salty cache location. I actually had to retrieve whole cache container and take it home to break in with the assistance of a rubber mallet. I think this hitch-hiker may have started out life as a tablecloth weight, but it was set free and is travelling where no tablecloths have ever gone. I think I'll check this one into a nice motel (also owned by the same cachers as the one I'm retrieving it from - The Garner Family) where it can chat with other TBs before flitting away on the next leg of it's journey.
