Today was another awesome caching day in Texas for the Monkey! I got up and made my way to the morning event where I had a nice omelette while meeting fellow cachers and swapping stories. Most of them already knew who I was. As things were winding down and I was getting ready to head out for my planned caching down south, JV walked in and said hello. When I mentioned where I was going she said she wanted to come along since all her fiends had done the run I was doing and she hadn't done it yet. She had limited time and it took longer to get down there than expected. Once down there we grabbed all the initial caches I had targeted and made it to the first cache in the power run I was doing right at the time she had to go. She will have to do it some other time. The good thing was these caches in this series are all there (except for a few in a small stretch that has been cleared) and are all easy to find so she should have no problems with it. What a great put together run. So many spots along the run to add more caches. Better hurry before I do ;) I finished up the run and some other caches right about the time I needed to head back for the evening event and made it right on time. I will come clean up the very few selected caches that I didnt get a chance to get to (which weren't many) when I come back to cache this area some more and clean it up. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these for everyone to enjoy. I did maintenance on a few where needed but all in all everything was perfect. TFTC!!!
