Current Goal

I am Biscuit and I began my journey April 10th, when my owner (3 years old at the time) challenged me to race a similar travel bug, Effie, belonging to her brother (5 years old).

Well time has passed, and so have many miles thanks to all of you devoted Geocachers!

IMPORTANT: My mission has recently been modified. My owner, now a brilliant 15 year old young lady, has developed a keen interest in Oceanology and sea creatures, particularly dolphins. She hopes one day to become a Marine Biologist. I thought it would be a neat idea for me to visit as many oceans as I can before returning home to tell her all about my adventures so that she might have her own one day! Whenever she calls me home (don't worry, she'll let you know!) I will gladly hang around her forever on her necklace or bracelet, a constant reminder of everywhere I have been and everywhere she can go!

About This Item

I am a genuine Travel Bug attached to a bloodstone scarab (a traveler by nature). When I finally complete my journey, I can be worn by my owner as the beautiful gem that I am!

Out with our 2 youngest geocachers (age 8 & 4). "Biscuit" the travel bug is our first trackable find so the boys are excited about sending her along on another adventure. They really thought it was cool that Biscuit was a Canadian and speculate that the 48 degree January weather in GA is better than what she may have encountered during her time up north!
