This Travel bug is sent in memory of our son, Alex. He passed away on February 24th 2007 after contracting Meningococcal Meningitis; he was just 17 years old. We want to spread the word about having our children vaccinated so other families won't have to feel the pain we do. We're so sorry about the loss of your son. Our sons didn't get the vaccination until they started college--high school would be a much better time for it but we weren't aware of the vaccine then. We hope the word gets out.
