About This Item

This pottery coin is one of a set of four we are 'setting free' in celebration of our 200 cache milestone on July 28 2007. The release was held off until October 6th at the “Geocoinfest Multi Event - Aotearoa (Canterbury)”.

Each has a different pattern of an ancient Chinese Animal; representing a direction,a season & an element.
White Tiger - West, Autumn, Metal
Azure Dragon - East, Spring, Wood
Red Phoenix - South, Summer, Fire
Black Tortoise - North, Winter, Water

Well this is one lucky Geocoin …. We were looking for a newly published cache at an area where another, older cache had recently been archived. In my search, i found the archived cache, complete with this bug 😮. It wasn't even logged into this particular cache. We will find a safe place for it to stay, and move it on very soon 😁.
