These are the colors that every American is proud of...These colors stand for everything we as American's believe in...We as Americans will stand up and fight for these colors...So please as you handle this Travel Bug treat it with the respect it deserves...And most of all pray for our troops that are away from their families defending these colors...This Travel Bug is dedicated to all the members and my friends in the 116th Calvary Brigade that are currently deployed in Iraq...
Also part of this Travel Bug is a patch off my uniform...It is the patch of the 116th Calvary Brigade currently deployed in Iraq...I have attached it to escort the Colors...

Hello All,

I have the travel bug and it has made it to Mosul, Iraq. I'm not sure where it was intend to go but it has made it this far. A little about myself, I'm a U.S. Army soldier from Washington DC who has served for over 15 years in the service.

Grabbed a steady grip of THE COLORS TB and will soon send it toward Mesopotamia. It may take a few odd turns along the way but it'll be in good hands.

Found this buried deep in the pockets of a curious 3-year old who is famous for 'finding things'. We took it on a journey with us around historic Fort Steilacoom, Lakewood, WA and checked it into a geocache nearby. It will soon (in the next few minutes) head off to distant, parched lands in quest of the ultimate adventure.

We found this great TB at Stanley Lake Creek #2 which is a remote spot in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. Unfortunately in our excitement about this find and the travels since, it was misplaced for over two months. Now it is time to to place it in a deserving cache .
