About This Item

Happy misses his zoo friends. Please help him to visit and make some new zoo friends. This travel bug was created with my nephew Kevin (Geo Indy).

We're going to take this fellow to an aquarium in Connecticut for a photo opportunity. He should feel a little more at home there! Then we'll see what else we can do to hep him towards his goal!

Before we left Happy Hippo in Vermont, we took him to our favorite zoo at Central Park right in the middle of Manhattan. Many people might know that zoo from the movie "Madagascar".
We have added some photos with Happy. There are also some without him which give you an impression of why we like this zoo so much.

We hope that Happy will be able to visit many more zoos all over the world!

During the last couple days, [URL=http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=bc493388-52ae-44be-bc3b-30dffe3b2504]MGTS - Peace[/URL] accompanied us on severals walks with [URL=http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=37747882-e7ef-46fa-bcf7-18863e0392b8]Abby the Trail Dog[/URL]. Also [URL=http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=05fd2daf-aea5-438f-a220-c18050e2887b]Happy Hippo[/URL] joined us even though we couldn't manage to visit a zoo yet. At least we managed not to spend[URL=http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=47705801-9bab-4014-9d95-ba51a979db9a]1877 Penny[/URL]! ;-)
Before we'll go to the US next weekend, everybody enjoyed the natural park "Rothaargebirge" and its premium hiking trail [URL=http://www.rothaarsteig.de]Rothaarsteig[/URL]. We took the pictures during our visit to the geocache [URL=http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=29df1131-cb4b-4b58-b503-ed4b74dfbea7]Köhlers Meiler[/URL] where you see a place where some people still produce charcoal in the same way like people in the area have done for hundreds of years.

We'll be visiting in about three weeks my favorite zoo, the Central Park Zoo in New York City. However, as there are nice zoos in Europe too, I'm not sure if we should bring Happy Hippo back to the US once he is overhere - maybe you could let us know what you would like us to do.
Today it was too dark to make pictures, but we will try to make some in the next days.
