About This Item

The occupation of beachcomber. Beachcombers are collecters. They sniff around the beaches looking for usefull or valuable things. It could be everything, lost items from ships, driftwood, fossils, or drift bottels. Real beachcombers move special to the beach for it, the préfere heavy weather. Then they make chance something special drift ashore. Alongside the high waterline of tide they make the biggest chance to find something. When its going to be ebb, the most of the stuff stay behind on the floodmark. Previously was beachcombing a way to make some extra money. Beachcombers use te things they found as building materials, fire wood or they sold it. In every village lived a few beachcombers. They try to be the first when there was something to find on the beach.

This was our first travel bug we have found on the way back from my sons football match. It has taken a while to work out what we need to do with it. Kids were very excited about it. And even more so that they have realised it had originated from the Netherlands. Going to have to find a fairly large cache to deposit it.
