Current Goal

To travel the Trans-Canada Highway from West to East and return again.

About This Item

I would like to travel the breadth of Canada from West to East staying as close to the Trans-Canada Highway as possible. I am starting out at the Saanich View - Finlayson Arm Geocache near Victoria and would like to someday return there. Hopefully I'll get a chance to take some pictures and post them here!

Found it.We took the TB and we are heading back to Rochester NY so it looks like Happy Hippo is on his way back to canada. Took a patch and left a teeny beany from McDonalds. Thanks--Gman & Family

I placed the Happy Hippo in this cache which is a little north of where I live. Now it is a tiny bit closer to Canada than my dining room table.

Found this near Bennington, VT which is over an hour drive northeast from where I live. I took it home with me since there was no explanation on its intended mission. Then back at the ranch, I looked the hippo up on the computer to discovery that it wants to be in Canada. I will print out a narrative stating the Happy Hippo's objective and put it in the baggie with the Hippo so hopefully anyone that finds it, from now on, will know its goal as soon as they find it. I will try to bring the hippo somewhere north of me but I don't plan on going up to Canada anytime soon so someone else will have to bring it further. Eh!

Although he is off track he is still happy. It is so nice to have a visitor from a far land. Perhaps I can boost him back onto his way to Canada with a drive North. Or I might attach his tag to myself and take a vacation. Cachers willing.
