Current Goal

Someone gave me this neat little metal airplane, and since I'd just gotten off a US Airways flight I decided to name it USAir bug. Thusfar it's travelled over 24,000 miles and has since been sent back to me. I had planned to drop it off into the second edition of my destroyed cache here in Buffalo several years ago, but didn't get around to replacing that cache until just today. If/when the cache is approved by the reviewer, this bug will be back on its way to parts unknown!

I'd like to get some international distance once more, but as long as it's moving along I'm happy :) . Thanks to everyone who's had it so far, and let's keep it going!

Hey all! There's six people still tracking this. Talk about out of left field - I finally got around to replacing my destroyed cache from several years ago, and I found this inside a box of stuff I had planned to put in there. Once the cache is approved I'll be dropping it in there again. The USAir bug is back in action! Thank you to everyone who's moved it so far, and to anyone who picks it up on its second journey around the globe!

Ok, I'm going on vacation with family. After that, I will circulate this bug. Sorry for those still watching it go nowhere, lol.

I got the bug in the mail today; and I think it's amazing how far it has gone! I plan to re-circulate it soon.

I accidentally logged placing this in a cache. I still have it and am waiting for owner to reply to email so I can send it back to him.

For those watching this bug,
All is well...

I contacted the owner a while back to get his permission to hold on to this bug long enough to take it on a trip on Feb 16th to Michigan so I can show family members all about Geocaching with it.

I instructed each family to go out and buy a GPSr before I arrived and sure enough they did! We will get at least one great log entry with it up there and then send it on its way...

All the best
