Current Mission: To travel as quickly as possible to the Orchard Road Travel Bug Hotel in Singapore (GCNAEF).
I'm Around the World Squirrel, a travel bug competing in the 2005 SAGA Bug Race from San Antonio, Texas, to Singapore.
Mission #1: Between August, 2005 and July, 2006, please move me toward the Orchard Road Travel Bug Hotel in Singapore (GCNAEF) Jurassic Park cache in Singapore (GCMW0J) as fast as possible!
ETA: Need to add a couple of things regarding the Bug Race. First of all, the original destination has been archived, so the bugs are now racing to Jurassic Park instead.
Also, I've just learned that traveling via a Stargate (where my bug is currently located) would be considered cheating! So, please do not put this bug in the mail - he needs to be moved "by hand" from cache to cache. Thanks!
To see current standings, etc., of the race: SAGA Bug Race
Mission #2: After the race has ended, I want to keep traveling the world - I'm hoping to visit all seven continents, and as many countries as possible.
Thanks for helping me complete my mission!

Found this cute little squirrel busily gathering acorns deep in McAllister Park. I sat him down and reminded him that he is in a race to Singapore and that while hopping from tree to tree is fun, it is certainly not nearly as much fun as hopping from continent to continent. After giving him a dose of ridelin, we plan to release him back to the wild.
