ENGLISH:
This geocoin is dedicated to space flights. It shall visit caches related to space as well as all places (and nearby caches) where space flights have started. Hence some possible targets for this coin are:
- Baikonur, Russia (no cache around, unfortunately)
- Cape Canaveral, USA (lots of caches around, fortunately)
- Kourou, French Guyana (the only suitable cache there is GCF2A)
Photos and travel stories are greatly appreciated!

Diese Geocoin ist allen bisherigen Weltraumflügen gewidmet. Sie soll Caches besuchen, die in Beziehung zur Weltraumfahrt stehen, und natürlich auch die Startplätze der bisherigen Raumflüge besuchen (und dort möglichst auch etwas Zeit in einem Geocache verbringen). Einige mögliche Ziele sind:
- Baikonur, Rußland (leider kein Cache vorhanden)
- Cape Canaveral, USA (reichlich Caches vorhanden)
- Kourou, French Guyana (da ist wohl GCF2A der einzige geeignete Cache)
Fotos und Reiseberichte (besonders von den ungewöhnlicheren Locations) sind äußerst willkommen!

Esta geocoin conmemora a todos los vuelos espaciales. Debe visitar locaciones relacionados con la cosmonáutica, especialmente sitios con plataformas de lanzamiento (y los caches más cercas de ellos). Algunos ejemplos por destinos posibles de esta moneda son:
- Baikonur, Rusia (no caches en el derredor)
- Cape Canaveral, USA (muchos caches en el derredor)
- Kourou, French Guyany (solamente un cache adequado: GCF2A)

The decision to let this coin start its journey just there was based on several reasons. First, the existence of the nearby building thas looks like a UFO. Second, the place has been a military site before it was transformed into a park. Military developments have contributed a lot to the technology of (mostly peaceful) space flights. The big gun also reminded me a lot of the old science fiction story written by Jules Verne, in which some men are shot to the moon by a giant cannon. May the coin fly around quickly and visit lots of interesting places!
