How do Trackable Items work?
Recently Spotted: In Little Bay de Noc View
Current GOAL: This Travel Bug has a very specific mission: to trace the steps of my ancestors back through time! The first objective of this TB will be to travel to Lawrence County, South Dakota. ZIP 57732 is in the county center. Once it reaches the county please take LOTS of pictures! Once it's traveled around there for a while I'll post a new objective! *The rest of this entry is optional reading* My great great grandfather William Dawe immigrated to America from England during the 1880s, arriving in Wisconsin, where he met his first wife Rosanna Worth, daughter of John and Johanna Worth. She died in 1897. William married twice more after her death. Back in England he was a miner and he continued that occupation when he moved to Terry, South Dakota and mined for gold. If you can take a picture of any mines in the area that would be excellent! In the early 1900s he moved his family to Fremont, MI in search of a better life.
About this item: A TB attached to a tree and a keychain.
