Current Goal

The mission of this coin is to travel far far away and spread bike awareness, until August 12th 2009! It will be excaclty 1 year without Tod! He was killed in a motorbike accident in August 12th of 2008! After that day, Please I would love to see it comming back to Rhodes Greece, in cache named "The Rock" (GC206E)!

About This Item

I didn't know Tod! I never had the chance even to see him! Or did I? Maybe he was the biker who just passed me, maybe he was the one who waved at me, maybe he was the biker I saw lying on the road ,after an accident... maybe he was inside the ambulance I heard leaving the area... Maybe!! Please, share the road with all! Roads were not made only for you! They were made for all of us! We are all equal there, even if we are in a car, a bike, a bicycle! No! the biker who just passed is not a bad guy....he is a normal guy, just like you! He also has parents, he also has friends, he also has a family, he also has people who love him! He may is your friend from school, your neighbour, your brother, your son...! He is not doing anything different from you! He is also trying to get to his job, to his home, to his family, to his children! Remember, bikers do not have the protection you have inside the car! Please, be more careful next time, share the road, share a smile, share in life!

    Picked it up. This guy has been out in the system for THREE years and made it close to getting back, when it was in Germany. To bad it was picked up and brought back to the States. I'm taking it near O'hare, hopefully someone can take it back to Europe and it can finally make its way towards Greece!

    Wasn't sure I was logging the right coin, but I looked at the pictures and it's the right one! Not sure where the name came from since the coin says Lazy Hayes Days! Cute picture of a piggy!! We'll take him back to IL with us and find a nice cache to drop him in.
