This coin is being released in loving memory of Tod from Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom, The Cachestalkers. Tod was killed in a motorcycle accident on Aug 12, 2008.

About This Item

Ride defensively, it's life or death out there! Pay close attention to everything and stay alert, you can never tell when a car might pull out in front of you, a child might chase a ball into the street or a deer or other animal might decide to cross in front of you.

Take breaks on longer trips to allow yourself to rest your body and mind. Daydreaming while riding as well as fatigue can be deadly for a biker...even if the biker isn't the one suffering the fatigue or doing the daydreaming! One eye on the road, the other on everything else!!

    This TB was retrieved from Top Dog in Morro Bay sometime ago by a friend of mine but never logged. She brought it back to Prescott, AZ and yesterday gave it to me to place in a geocache. I am getting the log up to date. I will place it here and then retrieve it and take it to Seattle with me the end of next week.

    One of the more interesting geocoin stories we've seen, and a sobering reminder that Life isn't all beer and skittles. Some geocoins deserve to spend time in the wild, but this one should be where people are likely to find it and maybe learn from it; we'll try to find a good spot for this near home.
