FRONT: The front of the coin has the cross shield of the crusaders. On the top half, it is engraved in latin: "Non nobis domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuoda gloriam", which means "Not unto us, not unto us O Lord, but unto thy name, give the glory" On the bottom half it is engraved in latin: "Pauperes commilitones Christi Templique Solomonici hierosalemitanis", which means "The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon"
BACK: The back of the coin has the Geoffroy de Vichier version of traditional seal of the knights templar with two knights riding a single mount (Hugues de Payens & Godfrey de Saint - Omer) It has the latin engraving "Sigillum Militum Xpisti" which stands for "Seal of the army of Christ"
