About This Item

This coin is a traveling exhibit from The Homemade Geocoin Museum in Ventura, CA, USA (GC215ZC). If you are new to geocaching, homemade geocoins are made by players like you and me that they leave as calling cards in caches. Please add to it as you can and pass it along.

Technical note: The hole size to drill is 5/32." Also, the heavy and more expensive poker chips tend to have metal in their middles - drill carefully! If you don't feel up for drilling, put your chips in the bag before you pass it on and someone down the road will drill it for you! Thanks and enjoy!

I grabbed this TB, but forgot to log it. I am on vacation now. When I return home I will properly log the TB retrieval and quickly find a new place for the exhibit.

Had hoped to have an opening at GSMx2's Travel Bug Spa for all the performers, but this location will have to do for now for the Homemade Geocoin Traveling Exhibit. Stop on by, catch the show at Sometimes You Just Want to Croak, and keep Badfeet XY company while Badfeet XX is in San Diego.

We love the accomodations here, but rough weather expected for the morning, so we're doing an early check out and flying the exhibit back to warmer weather in California. The exhibit was a roaring success in Rhode Island.

When I first saw this TB, I wasn't sure if I was suppose to take it, but then I saw the permanent exhibit, and I knew it was meant to travel. Great idea. Thanks for sending these home made coins on tour.
