Well Mars had an awesome time on the Rally - and we had to push our limits to the test.

There were 10 Caches we had to find all together - we started out with having to get in a rubber dinghy (with life jacket) and paddle out to the little island to get the first clue.

We were in Bunzten Lake/Anmore Area - we then went to Coquitlam.

We had to solve many puzzles along the way - 1 was a maze, 1 was a coloring puzzle (which we got wrong - we shake our heads the 6 looked like a 5) . We had a jigsaw puzzle to do and a puzzle where we had to decrypt a message.

Each cache was at least 400 meters from the vehicle - some up to 800 meters and we were running to each one. There was also bonus points for getting our picture taken in a photo booth.

For all the pictures of the event - watch the cache page of where he was. There will also likely be video footage. Two of those on our team were from New Zealand, as well as 1 person was from Abbotsford, BC.

Here is the link to Anmore where the event started:

This was his next stop -Guemes island.

To get here you take a ferry from Anacortes - cost $9 for a car & 2 people round trip.

Guemes is full of artists and beautiful country roads - and is also knick named Dog Island as quite often the dogs on the island congregate in the roads.

If anyone would like more information on the Island let us know - as well in a few days we will be updating our blog about it.
