Current Goal

"Red" would like to stay in County Durham for his first few months, before moving on to travel the North during 2006, and the rest of the UK in 2007. If he is still on the run in the UK at the end of 2008, Red would then like make his way to Maryland, where he originally came from, and visit as many different countries and places as possible.

Red and Gold - in all his glory!


This GeoCoin has been specially imported for the benefit of GeoCachers in the UK, especially the North East. We understand that these coins are often perceived as collectable, but please do not keep him as it spoils it for other cachers.

The rules of the game are up to the individual, but we feel swapping tracking numbers by email to get the logo isn't really part of caching, so we'd prefer it if you'd only log our coins if you've actually seen them in person.

"Red and Gold" is a the title song of a Fairport Convention Album released first released in 1989, and currently available on CD. Given the lovely logo these coins have, we thought the name was appropriate.
