Holy cow, what a story! So I went to grab this cache today before heading back south. Saw that this trackable had arrived in America but hadn't moved or seen anything since its arrival a month and a half ago. Thought I might take it and move it back towards Tucson, Arizona with me.
Now the awesome part. I am hiking up the hill, my gps being totally stupid pointing one way and then the other, so I thought I might quit this search. I look up and AnnasSheep is laying in the middle of the dirt road, on the ground, in the middle of nowhere! Sopping wet and cold and dirty, I picked up the little thing and wiped it off and put it deep into my pocket to warm it up! Hey, it snowed here the other night and it was in the 20's last night! I figured the cache had been muggled and was going to quit my search. But my gps settled down, I found the cache intact with no problems. So I have no idea why AnnasSheep way just laying there like that. I am so glad Chester my dog and I came across it. There are hundreds of ways to get up that hill. We got lucky. So the sheep is now in a place of honor on my dashboard while we head back to Tucson over the next couple of days, hopefully with a stop on the ET highway. She sipped some warm coffee and is looking better already! True story!! Pictures later.
