This coin is part of the Todie's Wild Ride race to help promote bicycle and motorcycle safety. Please discover or move it but please don't keep it! In memory of Tod, one third of Team Rod & Tod w/Kaboom. Tod was tragically killed when a vehicle turned in front of his motorcycle. He was not wearing a DOT approved helmet. Helmets save lives!

What would be a better place to continue spreading the message of traffic safety than a busy rest stop nearby an intersection of two highways, one to the capital of Finland, Helsinki, and another to the former capital of Finland, Turku? There is always plenty of all kinds of vehicles at Autokeidas: bikes, motorcycles, private cars, touring cars, buses and trucks. Remember that the bigger the vehicle is the more responsibility the driver has for everyone's traffic safety. Have a safe drive wherever and whatever you are driving!

Bicycle safety is everyone's responsibility. Keep your bike in good condition and always remember to wear helmet. It is very cheap life insurance. When you are driving a car be ware of bikers. I will find a good place for this geocoin to efficiently spread the message of safety. Traffic is co-operation.

Found this coin lying in a cache. This time I wasn't riding my bike, thus left the coin lying there waiting for bikers ;) Nevertheless, in our family, we don't ride bicycles without helmets!

GC has travelled a bit. Bike season is starting here in Finland. Snow is melting and after couple of weeks we need helmets. I try to find a nice cache for this coin.

rescued from the cache but bikes shouldn't be driving in all this snow anyhow! Was in Germany recently and saw a lady start to ride a bike down a steep narrow mountain with ice and snow all over. No helmet. Now thats NOT SAFE. Will move along.
