Podcacher Tribute Ducky is one of Team-Ducky's Traveling Duckies. It is our 404th signature ducky and our 19th traveling ducky.
It is a special signature item "proxy" for a Podcacher Geocoin. The geo-coin's tracking number is on the bottom of the ducky.
The Podcacher Podcast Team (Sonny, Sandy, and Sean) live in California, U.S.A. Together, they put out one of the best geocaching-themed podcasts, the Podcacher Podcast. In addition to their podcasting, geocaching, photography, and other general geekiness-- they also collect and showcase geocacher signature items. Team-Ducky hopes to get one their signature duckies in one of the Podcacher Treasure Cache Coffee Table Books, but first we have to get a signature ducky to them! We could, of course, just mail them one-- but that wouldn't be in the tradition of our signature items. Thus, Podcacher Tribute Ducky was created and given its mission.
Team-Ducky has "appeared" on the Podcacher Podcasts a number of times:
Show 264 - Milestones (40:17) Celebrating our 300th find with our 139th ducky.
Show 299.1 - Feedback (41:37) Correcting Sonny's mis-identification of Hermy the Elf from the Rud06olph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Show 320 - Cool Ideas (14:20) Describing our SITMC Cooperative Cache First Aide Event.
Show 340 - Geocacher Email (26:12) Introducting this traveling ducky, the Podcacher Tribute Ducky!
Thank you for helping Podcacher Tribute Ducky on its mission!
Sonny, Sandy, and Sean, will you close out this travel bug description in your usual style?
