About This Item

I recently attended a conference on Traumatic Brain Injury that included the effects of TMI, prognosis and therapy options and sitting in on a survivors' group meeting. It was an eye opening experience.

Brain injury is a leading cause of death in motorcycle crashes and the statistics show the number of deaths at its highest in 20 years. An unhelmeted motorcyclist is 40% more likely to suffer a fatal brain injury. Wearing a helmet is the single most important thing you can do to save your life while on a bike. Why wouldn't you?
