This past week we have had three motorcycle accidents.
One of the accidents was a motorcyle. The bikers and his rider was traveling when the wife noticed a horse running right toward them The wife told her husband and he kept control of his bike when the horse hit them. They were both wearing a helmet and will recover from their injuries.
Another accident was a biker who lost control on a curve. He was thrown from the bike and sustained head injuries and he wasn't wearing a helmet.
The third accident, a jeep crossed the center line and hit a motorcycle. The biker and his wife was wearing a helmet and had broken bones. The police and the life flight attendants said the helmets are what saved their life.
The driver of the jeep was using the cell phone and was distracted when she crossed the yellow line.
Helmets do save your life so please wear them.
Everyone on the road should be paying attention, be in control and wear seat belts or helmets.
