Current Goal

This coin's mission is to spread the word of one of the best (and most insane) biker's Clan Doyle Papa has known, callsign Warlock. During a safety briefing, Warlock summed up a car's inability to see motorcycles thusly: "If you were to wrap Claudia Schiffer in nothing but Cling-Wrap, take her to the busiest intersection in town, and put her on a motorcycle, no one would see her." He also had a portable dashboard police light attached to one of his helmets after one close call. Please, look out for us. We're flashy, we're obno xious, but we're smaller too. We try to do all we can, now the ball is in the car's court.

About This Item

As funny (and true) as Warlock's advice is, this coin is first and foremost in memory of Todie Phillips! Tod, 1/3 of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident when a motorist pulled into his lane unexpectedly. Tod (as we have surmised) likely locked his brakes and skidded sideways until he perceived he was safe to disengage the brake and resume. Unfortunately, when in a skid, bikes usually tend to skip if the brake is released (as I learned at the funeral services). Tod likely released the brake (just a speculation), the bike jumped and then grabbed before flipping several times...Tod rode it to the end! This accident was needless, the driver merely needed look and would have seen Tod there. This usually happens because of people being in a hurry. PLEASE take your time and help us arrive safely! PLEASE keep this coin moving to help spread the word of bike awareness!!
