My records contain a flaw regarding The Compass Rose Geocoin. I’ve crossed up two geocoins and effectively loss it out of the system. I will re-enter into system, then authorize it for travel to P5213 and cut its orders.

My sister, niece, and nephew found the Return of the Apes cache, and thus bagged this coin's Mission A Planet A.P.E. release-and-photo requirement, so with this and with lark78's benchmark, the coin should be mission-complete and ready to head back to Münster...

Found this geocoin today while stopping by the cache to leave my first travel bug. Will try to find an interesting benchmark and/or A.P.E. cache for this item very soon! [Update: after checking up on the Project A.P.E. caches, I was startled to find that one of them - the mission-3 replacement, Return of the Planet of the Apes - is just off of the route I usually take when visiting family in New York! I did just get back from a trip there, though, so I'm not sure when I'll be down that way next; will have to decide whether to hold the coin that long in hopes of finding the cache, or just to move it along as soon as I can...]
