I had the rare opportunity to get out of the house alone for a few hours, and a hike up to Telegraph Peak sounded like a good way to go. When I saw this cache had been maintained, I decided that this would be the ideal route. I hadn't quite planned on how cold it would be with the incredible winds that were blowing though, and without gloves and anything more than a windbreaker, I decided that Thunder Mountain would be my final stop for the day. Had a quick bite to eat on the porch of the shack, and made a quick find thanks to some good coords and a cache that was actually there. Thermometer read 38 degrees when I left the shack this morning.
