Hi, I'm a Georgia State Parks Geo-Challenge Travel Gopher. My goal is to travel around the USA, from cache to cache, to raise awareness for our spectacular state parks, our cool historic sites and the new Georgia State Parks Geo-Challenge! Log your visit, and move me to a new geocache in the USA.

This Travel Gopher comes from Red Top Mountain State Park and Lodge, Cartersville GA 770-975-0055

This park is located on beautiful 12,000-acre Lake Allatoona and is ideal for swimming, boating and fishing. Twelve miles of wooded hiking and biking trails wind through the park, providing excellent opportunities for exercise and family fun and another stop on the Muddy Spokes Club. Red Top has tennis courts and mini golf for hours of play. Go for a day at the beach, explore a reconstructed 1860s log cabin or spend the night in a cozy cottage, a 33-room lodge and conference center with restaurant, or tent, trailer or RV camping. There are also 7 picnic shelters and 2 group shelters.
