Race Points:
1 pt per km
5 pt per unique discoverer
10 pt per cache
25 pt per unique retreiver
50 pt per picture with TB clearly in it
1,000 pts for picture of TB with log book of challenge cache GC1W11B
10,000 pts for arriving at challenge cache GC1W11B Dolmen "Li Scusi" (Minervino)
25,000 pts for returning to the original racers lounge after getting to GC1W11B

Happy super fun time blind double day bonus points!
On one day each month any points incurred that day will instantly double. These days are already decided and placed in the point calculating software. The days are blind to all except the software. For example, if a racer has the blind luck to travel 3,000 km and visit 5 caches on a bonus day they will get 6100 pts instead of 3050. So the moral of the story is to move every day just in case!

Picture Challenges:
This year each month will also have 1 picture challege for the racers to attempt. Each completed challenge is worth 1,000 pts and can be completed only once and only during it's month.

February - Hey Look mom I'm Flying! - To get a picture of the racer on an airplane
March - Man these extra points are hard! - Picture of the racer with a log book of a cache that has a difficulty AND terrain >= 4
April - Cast Away With the Lord of the Flies on Gilligan's Island - Picture on an island that can only be got to by plane or boat and that is less than 1000 sq km (dipped or placed in a cache on the island to prove where it was)
May - Yup that's a city - Picture of the racer high up overlooking a city
June - Oh come on! It's summer! - Picture of the racer outdoors in snow
July - Still Hopping along - Picture of Signal the Frog holding the racer
August - On top of the world! - Get a picture on top of a mountain
September - I'm on a Boat! - Picture of the racer chilling on a boat
October - Boo - Picture of the racer in costume (be innovative)
November - I'm here! - Picture of the racer in front of a "Welcome To.." sign for a town of less than 500 people
December - Ho Ho Ho - Racer in a picture with a mall elf
January - This is no time to relax! - Racer warming up infront of a fire place
