You have found a Black Hills Geocoin Race Geocoin #10 of 10. All ten coins were released in the Black Hills area, South Dakota on January 1, 2010 to race each other until January 1, 2011. Each coin has been adopted by a local Geocacher that will track there coin throughout the year. The satellite image on these coins commemorate the removal of Selective Availability from GPS on May 1, 2000, The first documented placement of a GPS-located cache took place on May 3, 2000, by Dave Ulmer of Beavercreek, Oregon.
