Current Goal

TO TRAVEL FROM A CACHE IN ALTON ILLINOIS AND GET MY PICTURE TAKEN AT as many states and countries as possible. My main goal is to visit New England in the fall months, Upper Michigan during winter months and visit the ski resorts in the UP. Originally from Portland Maine, so a visit there would be nice....Include lots of pictures.....

  • "New Airport Security Training" Tour Group MaxB's Escorted Tb Group Tour gets trained on the new TSA Airport Security precautions before heading to Newark. They first had to make sure they had no liquids or gels in their possession. Then they were treated with a practice ride through the x-ray. Shown are TB's: Old Glory, E-Race-R, Mom on Vacation, 1962 VW Bus, Star's & Stripes, Sis Eye, Texas Spur, Dudtiano's Compass Rose Coin, Louie the Lobstah, and Sugar Bear.

Wanted to log 1962 VW Bus in a cache close to Rolla, MO. MaxB's Escorted Tb Group tour "Moving Day" came down to assist with moving him from Rolla to the Houghton, MI. Houghton (MTU) is at the base of the Keweenaw Pennisula in the UP of Michigan. We will traveling to the UP in the next month or so and will be dropping VW Bus off to reach one of his goals.

When we met yesterday, you said you wanted your TB's to go north for the winter. Team MaxB both graduated from Michigan Tech University and our last year there we had a record setting 390" of snow the winter of 78-79.

VW Bus better like the cold.

I'm catching up on all the TB's MaxB escorted through the area. They really know how to give the grand tour! GREAT looking VW bus. It's a good thing it's going to Michigan, because I don't think it would have ever made it to a single Civil War battlefield. 😁
