Lady of the Lake likes to travel to caches near water. She started on a kettle pond on Cape Cod, Mass., but would like to visit the Great Lakes, especially the North Shore of Lake Superior.
Cape Cod may be best known as a maritime penninsula, but inland it is full of kettle ponds, depressions left from receding glaciers eons ago. Walkers Pond in Brewster, MA., is in the heart of the 835+ acre Punkhorn Parklands and is the third in a string of ponds traveled by alewives in their annual spawning migration. Lady of the Lake started out here, but wishes to visit her ancestral vacation place on the greatest of the Great Lakes, Lake Superior. If she can get near Two Harbors, Minnesota, even better. She'll be happy to visit other caches, aquatic or not, along the way. Please provide scenic pictures of her travels. Thanks!
