Current Goal

Hello. My name is Cecil the Monkey and I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida, USA. I am the mascot for the website Lookatthemonkeys.com and I was accidentally left in Germany during the 2006 World Cup. I am currently trying to find my way home! I am in no rush though so please feel free to take me on any adventures on my way home, but please take pictures for my website along the way.

About This Item

Cecil had a blast taking a little tour of "The Lost Villages" before hitting the Remembering Dutchmaster Event.

The Lost Villages are very cool as they were flooded during the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway. The houses were either removed or destroyed but many of the old foundations cane still be seen along with the old roads to this day.

Cecil will enjoy a little break before the big road trip as our mascot and be placed in a historic cache.

  • Water, water, water! Under this water used to be prime farm land and over a dozen small villages.
  • Where did the road go! Very cool to see this and when the water is low you can walk along for quite a while before the water really gets deep.
  • Snake in the grass Just a friendly Garter Snake.
