To travel around Great Britain on a penny farthing. I want to travel to places like The Scilly Isles, The Lake District, Cape Wrath, John O'Groats, Seahouses etc. but dont mind going abroad!
A Farthing minted in 1943 when I was born. The Farthing was legal tender up to 1960 and you could buy sweets with it when I was at school. It was the smallest coin and had a wren on the back which is one of Britains smallest birds. George the Sixth (the Queens Father) is on the front.
A Penny minted in 1966 the year we were married. I Used to pay one penny to travel from Queenstown Road, Battersea to Clapham Common on the bus to go to school. Ceased to be legal tender 31st August 1971.
