About This Item

Crabby

Crabby came to be at the Febuary meeting of the Maryland geocaching society. Februarys meeting was hosted by the last lap gang who presented me with Crabby after the meeting. He was passed around and everyone in attendance that day signed his shell. This is the first of many travel bugs that will be launched after our monthly meetings. Crabby simply wishes to travel around and see the sites and visit any geocaching events and have his picture taken to note the event!

As the first to arrive at this event, I was the recipient, and given the dubious honor of forwarding it on. Crabby is in good shape, but unfortunately most of the names have become unreadable. I will hang on to it for a short while, to see if any events are scheduled, but will drop it off if time becomes excessive.

this poor guy was handed to me because he got left at a cache all winter long (almost froze to death once or twice) but now he is in a warmer place.

I have been waiting all winter and spring to do this particular geocache. This is my third attempt & I finally succeeded. This TB has been in a geocache that has been unavailable all winter due to the fact that snow closes this graveled mountain road at least 4 months out of the year. So before going up I checked out the cache web page & saw there was a TB, so I checked it out also. I normally dont pick up TBs unless I know their goals because in the past I have picked up a few whose goals where a little out of my way. Since part of this TB`s goals is to attend event caches, I have one in mind. Most of our events are over but I think this crab will make an appropriate gift for one Moun10goat. We will be placing this TB about a month.
