Swiss immigrants from Glarus, Switzerland, settled New Glarus in 1845. New Glarus has maintained much of its Swiss heritage and traditions and is known today as Americas "Little Switzerland".
Received this plate to the 150 years anniversary as a present from good friends living near of New Glarus.
