This Travel Bug was launched in memory of my daughter Calypso Paikea Rhyder who was born on June 14, 2007 and died on July 7, 2007. She was 23 days old. She died of complications of prematurity. If you would like you can view her webpage below
Calypso's Site
If you could PLEASE log this bug when you find it and help it along to a new location I would be so appreciative.
In Memory of Calypso:
E kore te aroha (My love will never
e maroke i te rā, be dried by the sun,
Mākūkū tonu i It will be forever moistened
aku roimata e. by my tears.)
"The death of a baby is like a stone cast into the stillness of a quiet pool;
the concentric ripples of despair sweep out in all directions,
affecting many, many people."
--De Frain, 1991
On September 14, 2013 - I requested a replacement TB be released by EXMAN from facebook. You can see his page at facebook HERE.
On April 2015 - The original was found after the replacement was lost. The TB will be on the move again soon!
On June 12, 2016 - It is almost Calypso's 9th birthday (June 14) On August 20th this TB will be 6 years old and still chugging along. Please if you find it don't keep it and help us keep it on it's journey. I would love any photos of Ko Paikea that you might take!

We are very sorry for your loss and lit a candle for her on your website. Thank you for making others aware of the complications, we had a friend who's baby passed of the same thing.

Found in the woods we have another tb that wants to go to the water so maybe we will have to take a day trip to get both of theses tb's out of the woods and closer to water. No oceans in wi though so maybe we will take them to wisconsin dells and hope a traveler will help them on their ways.

Couldn't get this into a cache right on the water, so figured that we should leave it here. This is a beautiful area that we have enjoyed for years and it's near a peaceful spring. Hope this keeps traveling well and makes it back to you safe and sound!

Picked this up at a Meet & Greet, will try to get it to a lakeshore or two for you since I'm a long ways from the sea. So sorry to hear about your loss. This last November, we lost our nephew to the same thing. We have a TB out for him (TB3M0HW) - hopefully these two angels are sitting and watching over us all.
