The Kid would like to bring awareness about kidney disease in Canada. He is also hoping to encourage others to support the Kidney Foundation. The Kid is a mascot designed by a local Melfort woman who is living with kidney disease and an incredible positive outlook........she is an inspiration to many. The Kid is the official mascot of an annual event in Melfort, "Caching for Kidneys" This is a great event includes a fun day of geocaching, pancake breakfast, auction table, musical entertainment and great people.
