This ET Highway plaque is dedicated to those that set geocaching goals and dare to achieve them.
On 4 September 2011, Peasinapod, Team Geo-Rangers, Team Sand Dollar and markj57 achieved their goal to find every ET Highway geocache in the 1,500 cache series. The total number of geocaching finds for the day was 1,564, setting a personal best and world record for Team 1k +.
Four geocachers, one vehicle, and stamped the log sheet for every geocache visited. We started at Midnight with the first ET Series cache and ended the run in Tonopah, Nevada, twenty four hours later.
This coin is only discoverable on the plaque at the A le inn in Rachel, Nevada, placed to commemorate this extreme geocache run. While most of the geocaches were traditional, five other geocache types were found. Sometimes, it is all about the numbers, and for one memorable day, Team 1K+ decided to find as many as possible ...
Mission Accomplished!
Now it's your turn - set a geocaching goal, accomplish it, and challenge others to do likewise!

This coin/plaque celebrates our best day of caching ever. The four of us set a goal and exceeded it by a whole bunch. Thanks to my team and to the great guys that made this all possible!

We had a fantastic day of caching today, finding 1564 caches in 24 hours. The awesome caching team of Team Geo-Rangers, Peasinapod, Team Sand Dollar and I all pitched in equally and powered through the entire ET trail in just over 21 straight hours. A caching experience I'll never forget!
