Current Goal

Jerry wants to visit the location were Punk Rock started!

(feel free to take other pictures of Jerry and his adventures)

315 Bowery New York, NY 10003 (N 40 43.517, W 73 59.517)

The CBGB club was the location where The Romones played their first gig in front of a live audiance!

Unfortunately The CBGB is no longer located at the orignal address, but please take a picture of Jerry in front of it anyway. Don't forget to find some of the nearby geocaches!

Meet the Bones family...

(from left to right) Harry, Mary, Larry and Jerry

These 4 unfortunate souls have been "living" in adjacent plots for way too long! With Halloween nearing, they're gearing up to break free from their earthly places of burial and walk among the living once again! They're ready to see new places and meet new faces, with each family member having a special destination in mind. If you've grabbed one of the Bones Crew members, please drop off in another cache soon. If you've discovered one, please feel free to add them to your watchlist to see where their journey takes them. Click on the links above to check out the other morbid members of the Bones family!

Ended up hanging onto Jerry a little longer than I had planned. Only had the opportunity to find some virtual and micro caches while in Vegas...no opportunity to drop Jerry off. Upon my return to Iowa I discovered that the closest two 'Travel Bug Hotels' to my home had both closed their doors... So Jerry tagged along for another week or two until I found a cache big enough to leave him in. The selected cache is in a good location, close to the intersection of an interstate and a major highway. Hopefully Jerry will be on his way again soon...

Did a little geocaching to stretch the legs while on the way to visit a family member at the Mayo Clinic. Fortunately their prognosis looks much better than that of the Bones Family...

Looks like maybe the tags naming the trackable and their goal got mixed up...based on the family photo and the tracking code I've definitely got Jerry who wants to head east, but the attached card says it's Mary who wants to go west to Hollywood.

I'll be attending a conference soon in Las Vegas, so I'll let Jerry hitch a ride and at least accumulate some mileage...lots of the caches in the area are micros or virtuals, so I'm not sure if I'll find a place to leave Jerry or not. If I can't find suitable lodging for Jerry I'll bring him back and drop him in a cache in Iowa. I'm assuming Vegas is enough of a cross roads that Jerry can find a ride back east...
