To travel from cache to cache and remind people that walkers share the roads with us.
More and more people are walking today and many have no place to walk but on the side of the road. As a walker I know that I should walk on the left hand side of the road and should make myself visible to others. It has been a long time since we have had walkers on the road so it will take a while to get used to seeing them there. But walkers can be safe on the highway if we all pay attention and follow the laws. It only takes a second of being distracted for an accident to happen. Walkers are at a disadvantage because they are on the side of the road where there could be loose gravel, a hole, or when a vehicle goes by them the wind from the vehicle. I have seen vehicles when there was puddles on the road go through them just to splash the walker. That isn't being courteous but if we are all courteous then there is room enough for everyone.
Bikes travel on the right hand side of the road so the road could have more people on it then you are used to so we must really pay attention when we are traveling now. What have you missed when you looked over to look at your GPS? All it would take is that one second and an accident could happpen.
