This Travel Bug is in memory of my nephew William Watson who was diagnosed with stage four Synovial Sarcoma in October, 2008. Throughout his struggle with this vicious disease, Will’s spirit, determination and humor were shining examples to all of us who loved him. Will was sweet, funny, friendly and kind. He was named aptly; he had a strong will to live and fought bravely to survive the tumors that spread from leg to lungs to brain. Like a shooting star, his fire burned brightly and much too briefly and the memory of its beauty will remain in our hearts. Because of Will, his fellow students at Flour Bluff High School in Corpus Christi, Texas, became involved with Relay For Life. Please consider donating to Relay For Life or The American Cancer Society.
Will died on January 29, 2011 at the age of eighteen.
The goal of this TB is to travel the world in memory of Will.
