About This Item

Amik at the beginning of his travels.

I am an Elementary School Teacher in Canada and I thought it would be interesting for my class to start a travel bug that would hopefully move quickly from place to place so that we could monitor its travels and study the culture climate etc. of the areas the travel bug may get to.

Hi everyone
Thank you so much for helping me in my travels over the years. I am back with my owner who now leaves on Vancouver Island.
She is so happy that I am back and was so well cared for. She plans to take me with me on her travels from now on and I am
really looking forward to that.

Whoever placed Amik in GCNGMF Monumental View in NY state; can you log him so he can continue on? Thanks

We grabbed Amik on 9/20/09 at GCNGMF - Monumental View in NY State but we can't log Amik as "retrieved"; it doesn't show up as ever being "placed" at GCNGMF.

We've been watching to see if anyone finally logs it as "placed" but no one has. We can't log him until whoever placed him logs him. So we wanted to let everyone know that Amik is safe in NY state.
