Amik at the beginning of his travels.

I am an Elementary School Teacher in Canada and I thought it would be interesting for my class to start a travel bug that would hopefully move quickly from place to place so that we could monitor its travels and study the culture climate etc. of the areas the travel bug may get to.

We just started geocaching and OH what fun! This was the third day we geocached and our first travel bug found. We are having a great time and it's really neat to see where all he's been. He will be in a new location very soon! Will post the picture we took!

Found this litle guy in North Carolina. The Better Half and I are heading home after visiting Duke University in Durham, NC. Interested to see that this little guy originated in Canada, our home country. Also the fact he came from our province also. We could bring it closer to home if the owner wishes him to head that way. Otherwise we will drop him off near a river in Pennsylvania or New York.
