About This Item

FAT BASTARD..

I am just one of many pranks that two idiots on opposite sides of the country keep play on each other. My mission with the help of Geocahers is to work my way across the country from California to New Jersey. Each time I am picked up by a new Geocacher I need that person to place a phone call and leave a very short message. Please call Ray at USA 732-727-8020 or(800) 247-0264 Please leave the following message for Ray (Please talk with Ray or you can leave the message with one of the staff or on the answer machine after hours). “FAT BASTARD IS IN (The name of his present location) AND HOPES TO MAKE IT TO NEW JERSEY SOON”, Other names can be used if you are not Comfortable with the name Fat Bastard, such F.B. or the Fat Man. Ray knows nothing about Geocaching or of this Fat Bastard Travel Bug. Tell him nothing more than F.B. location; we want to keep him guessing. When I finally makes it to New Jersey please deliver me to Ray at: Air Sea International Forwarding, Inc. 400 Perrine Road, Suite 408 Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857 E-Mail: AirSeaIntl@airseaint.com Telephone: (800) 247-0267 Some of the things that Ray has done to me in the past: FedEx me his dead fish. FedEx me old Chinese food. FedEx me Fried Chicken. When I have gone over to visit him he has sent a driver out to pick me up with a sign that reads "BIG FAT BASTARD". And many, many more things. If you do not wish to make the phone call please return F.B. to a new cache as soon as you can. Please do not hold him for more than a few days. PLEASE TAKE PHOTOS OF MY TRAVELS AND POST THEM

Fat Bastard TB would have liked to stick around, but he felt the cache was too tight of a fit, especially since he had a turtle head on board. Probably will be heading towards Idyllwild, CA this weekend for a vacation at the Where the Wild Things Are cache. He heard there are copious amounts of animal flesh in the vicinity.

😮

Today was a sad day for the Deja Vu cache site, it has been destroyed by development. I arrived at the final leg of the hunt only to find remnants of the cache. The previous fence had been ripped away and the bushes razed. Even as I was standing in the pile of debris where the cache had once been bulldozers were razing the upper trees and bushes near the cache site. I spent 30 minutes scouring the debris finding only the fuzzy orange logbook in a ziploc bag with two photos, a laminated geocache note, writing utensils, and a printout of the cache's previous name. Looks as if the developers are slowly winning the battle over mother nature, at least in the short term.

Both Fat Bastard TB and I left with our heads hung low. I believe he even forgot about his quest for animal flesh.
