Team Slytherin from the UK celebrated their 1000th cache on 28th December 2004.

This is the cork from the bottle of bubby that was opened on the cold and windy beach to celebrate the occassion.

I went to Scribbly Gum today in the hopes of grabbing the champagne cork... but I couldn't find it in there. Just thought I should let you know. With any luck, someone has grabbed it and hasn't logged it yet.

we apologise for the very late logging of this one we were on holidays in QLD. australia it was still in our suitcase.we have since moved the bug on to Echuca near the mighty Murray river in Victoria thanks for the interesting history of SBBB travel bug it now has a little more history to tell.

Great find. Moving the cork off to a new location later this week. Not sure yet where it will end up, but if it's not this week it will travel up to QLD next week for a vacation!
